Not much, especially when it involves an early morning long run on the lakefront with a good friend. Tom and I met at 7:00am for 12 miles total (the first six were directly into a 20mph headwind). Along the way we took a few detours – paths we usually don’t take.
We decided to run up and down Navy Pier, and on our way back we made our way through Maggie Daley Park, finishing our run with a stretch of Michigan Avenue. The change of scenery really helped the time pass!
Below is another picture taken during this morning’s run (and one of the reward at Eleven City Diner!).
What’s your “there isn’t much better than this” activity?
