Chicago Style: June 7, 2017

I tell you what: black and blue ain’t just for steaks.

Chicago temps have their ups and downs, their highs and lows. We saw 94 degrees Sunday afternoon; today we’ll peak at 70. In order to keep cool (and your sanity), keep it natty with a button down and a pair of opaque shades.

Sunglasses: Rayban – Justin Classic with green lenses. They’ll cost you $125 but you’ll wear them everywhere.

Shirt: Ledbury gingham. Considering I snagged this shirt last season, it’s unlikely that it’ll be found today. Nonetheless, a Ledbury button down is a no-brainer: cool, light-weight, fits like (on me at least) like an untuckit would. I think I spent close to $100 on this, although I have ginghams from other brands that we less expensive (Gap, Old Navy).

Watch: Daniel Wellington – Classic Sheffield. Find it on Amazon.

Jeans: J Brand – Kane.

Shoes: Ecco – Men’s Casual Hybrid. I’m not on the course, but hey  – a guy can dream!

Stay cool, and check me out on Instagram!
