Baxter of CA – Daily Face Wash

Baxter of California Daily Face Wash

What Baxter Says

“The first step in any men’s skin care regimen, this gentle facial cleanser removes dirt and oil without stripping its natural moisture thanks to its natural coconut-based cleansing agents. Botanical extracts of aloe vera and ginseng soothe and revitalize, leaving skin feeling clean, refreshed and ready to face the day. This fragrance-free men’s formula is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive.”

Why I Like It

It’s gentle, fragrance-free, and it feels like a quality product. It leaves my face squeaky clean. I have sensitive skin and I’ve been been using this non-oily cleanser daily for over two weeks without any sign of irritation.

Ingredients

Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, TEA-Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Glycerin, Acrylates Copolymer, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Citric Acid, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Propylene Glycol, Stearyl Alcohol, Triethanolamine, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Methylparaben,Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben.

Where it Could Improve

It’s pricey, $18 for 10oz., and it’s sold in only one size. I assume that I’ll get at least 30-45 days out of this bottle (it doesn’t take a lot of this stuff to get a clean face), but a larger size at a lesser cost per ounce would be nice option.

The Verdict

I’ve tried other face washes: Jack Black, Dollar Shave Club, Kiehl’s, etc., but I find the Baxter of California daily wash to be the best value for a non-irritating daily facial cleanser. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.
